About the Trust

Maharshi Bhardwaj Charitable Trust

Together for Safe, Skilled, Healthy & Sustainable Communities.

Who we are

Maharshi Bhardwaj Charitable Trust is a charitable organisation based in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. We were established on 21 January 2026 to serve communities through education, environmental care, and grassroots wellbeing - guided by the service ideals of Maharishi Bharadwaj.

Our office is at HIG 45, Type A, Devprayagam, Jhalwa, Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh 211011, India.

Our vision

To foster resilient and self-reliant communities where every individual lives with safety, dignity, health, and opportunity.

We work towards this through integrated action in education, skilling, healthcare, environment and community security.

Our mission

We identify communities that are most exposed to risk and work alongside them in four areas. Two are already running in the field; two are being built as the trust grows.

  • Safety & Security

    सुरक्षाPlanned

Awareness drives, training and basic infrastructure for road, fire and disaster safety, and for the safety of women and children online and offline.

  • Environment

    पर्यावरणActive

Fruit-tree plantation, water conservation, waste management and local climate action, carried out with schools and village communities.

  • Health

    स्वास्थ्यPlanned

Preventive care, Ayurveda and general health camps, sanitation drives and nutrition support in places where a clinic is hours away.

  • Education & Skilling

    शिक्षा एवं कौशलActive

Classroom support, digital literacy and job-linked vocational training that ends in work, not only in a certificate.

All four are guided by the integrated wisdom and service ideals of Maharshi Bharadwaj.

Our first year

As a newly established trust, we begin with what we can document honestly: a school education visit and fruit-tree plantation drive in village Gharaghanpur, Saidabad, with an environmental talk by Dr Ayush Pathak (ETH Zurich, microbiology).

Safe, Skilled, Healthy, and Sustainable remain our guiding commitments as programmes grow.
